Technologies Used
This project was built in React with TypeScript, and Node.js, and using the Open Movie Database API. Currently deployed here on Netlify.
Development Process & Motivation
This project started as an exercise from the Scrimba Frontend Developer Career Path. The exercise was to create a search page to query the OMDb API, where movies could be added to your watchlist. The project was an effective way to practice CSS skills and interacting with APIs.
Challenges & Solutions
As one of my first React projects, I had trouble with state, especially with using data between two different routes, but I just needed more practice.
Future Plans & Improvements
There's few improvements I have in mind besides creating a movie recommendation feature.
